Thomas McNaull

Over his more than 30-year career, Mr. Thomas McNaullhas held numerous prominent executive-level positions at hospitals and healthcare management companies throughout the United States. Most recently, Thomas McNaull has focused his efforts and experience on consulting for the healthcare industry as the Chairman and CEO of MedStar Partners, LLC. In this position, Thomas McNaull primarily works with acute care hospitals facing financial and operational difficulties. Prior to founding MedStar Partners in 2007, Thomas McNaull served as the President and CEO of American MedTrust, officially known as AMT Group, Inc.

Over the course of his 14-year tenure managing American MedTrust, Thomas McNaullsuccessfully directed the turnaround of 4 major hospitals, including the Medical Center of Southern Indiana, Richmond Heights General Hospital, Cape Coral Hospital, and the Medical Center of Lancaster. Through his management, Thomas McNaull successfully grew American MedTrust's annual revenues to $100M from $15M in a 3-year period. Thomas McNaull also secured long-term consulting partnerships with numerous additional hospitals and healthcare centers, including the Cleveland Clinic, Lutheran Hospital, Curtis National Hand Center, and Quorum.

Before founding American MedTrust, Thomas McNaull served in senior-level management positions for Georgia-based Charter Medical Corporations (CMC). As CMC's Vice President of the Hospital Division and President of Information Systems, Thomas McNaull maintained direct oversight of the financial operations of more than 100 hospitals in the United States and abroad. Thomas McNaullcame to CMC after five years of senior-level management at Hospital Corporation of America, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer of several hospitals throughout Florida and Georgia.

Prior to joining Hospital Corporation of America, Thomas McNaullstudied accounting as an undergraduate student of the University of Florida. After earning his B.A., Thomas McNaull worked for 10 years before completing the M.B.A. program at Emory University. Professionally, Thomas McNaull maintains affiliations with several prominent healthcare organizations, including the Federation of American Hospitals, the American Hospital Association, and HBS Healthcare Industry Alumni Association.
